Fab night tonight, warm, friendly and informative!! Miranda's mum and chef Kate were loooooovely.
Lots of yummy food. Totally delicious and healthful!!!
Veggie curry with Lemongrass, Kaffir lime and Thai spices.........deeeelicious!!
Goody pack!! Gotta love take home goodies; chia seeds, Acai Berry Fruit Flakes, Kora Organic skincare testers.....and Loving Earth chocolate to name a few.
Nice pot of relaxing tea (ginger, chamomile and tranquiltea) at home to wash down all the food!!
Last words...........It was a wonderful evening, reminding me of the health journey using nutritious foods and superfoods. I love to meet people who are passionate about health and wellbeing, it's a great sense of connection. I will be trying some of the recipes and sharing bits with you. Superfoods are a wonderful addition to supplement and source the vitamins and minerals we likely miss in our modern day foods....however for me they are still an addition. I am still very much of the opinion that simple, good quality organic veggies and fruit are first and foremost the best. Something in my common sense questions my body's ability to fully metabolise a superfood from i.e. South America......when my family history is deeply ingrained in the South of England for at least 600 years and I know that my body just LOVES me for feeding it a nice plump baked potato................I almost feel that the maca, mesquite and lacuma just bumbles straight on through and out the other end!! It's the Ayurveda influence speaking in me whispering at me to stick to my roots!! So, incorporating and adding superfoods in to my diet!?! No problem. Now and again!! And I'm excited to share with you all the tit bits along the way xxx Off to bed.....
