Blissful Bowen!

I believe in fresh air, clean water, nutritious food, a clockwork digestive system, exercise and a cared for spine.  I use yoga and Bowen treatment to look after my spine.

This is what The Natural Approach Healing Centre says about Bowen therapy....

"Bowen is a remedial body technique that is extremely gentle and relaxing. It empowers the body's own healing resources to achieve balance and harmony which then results in lasting relief from pain and discomfort, often with substantial relief after the first session.

Bowen Therapy uses a vibrational energy which makes it safe to use on anyone from newborns to the elderly for any complaint from sports injuries to chronic or organic conditions.  Bowen facilitates the balancing of a range of conditions. It is a wholistic treatment which can address any problem. Bowen produces a body response which improves circulation, lymphatic and venous draining, assimilation of nutrients and elimination of toxins, joint mobility, posture, clearance of dysfunctional debris, normalization of cellular physiology and tissue integrity."

I tried Bowen about a year ago (my mum and brother swear by it for their ailments, namely a sore back, headaches and sinus issues).  All I know is that I feel fantastic after a session, completely relaxed and my spine / torso feels at ease, as though it's been freed up!!

Today I went to my appointment with neck and shoulders that were really tight, a sore lower back and I was frazzled, literally my nervous system was in overdrive............and I left the session in what can only be described as bliss.........floaty, relaxed, blissful Sharon Hopkins is a beautiful practitioner in the Melbourne area who I visited on a recommendation from our family Bowen therapist in England!!
