Fruit Face

Upon waking up from my dream of being a lady of leisure booked in for weekly organic facials I decided I should be able to D.I.Y my face..........and not only does it feel good to give yourself a bit of a pampering....well to be honest I'm a bit over staring at the sides of my eyes everytime I pass a mirror to scrutinise any impending lines.....pah.....facials is all I need for Peter Pan youth.....i'm sure of it!!!

SO....my brief.....D.I.Y facials; simple, quick, cheap, effective!!

The answer....fruit!!

As you know I am all into minimising toxins in the environment and on our bodies.  And if all the nourishment we need comes from whole foods.....vegetables and fruit being super nutrient dense....then it makes sense to put it on your face!!  After all, if the skin is the biggest organ.....why not feed it.

Many expensive effective cosmetic brands tout the special effects of plant botanicals.........but why spend a fortune if you have what you need in your kitchen.....then treating yourself to a posh facial or products every now and again doesn't break the bank!!!

Fruit facials here we come.  It's always best to ensure you start with a clean face!!  And I find it easiest to do this at the weekend, or sometime in the evening after work.  Why not relax in the bath....oooh go on!

Facial Suggestions

Facial 1) Mangos are one of my favourite fruits.  After eating the delish morsel......simply rub the inside of the skin over your face.  Allow to dry and leave on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse off......super smooth!!

Facial 2) Banana and honey....after eating a banana, rub the inside of the skin over your face, even using a little of the banana usually left in the botton of the peel.  I wanted a little more to add to this so I got a little Maharishi honey on a teaspoon and smoothered it on to any wrinkle prone places with my fingertips!!  Am amused that I would be a bug feeding frenzy if I just stepped outside!  Here are some more ideas for
banana.

Facial 3) Avocado is also another great one....just mash up a little avocado next time you use one and smother it over your face.  Leave for 10-20 minutes and then rinse off!

There are plenty more ideas on google, you are bound only by your imagination!!  These are super simple ideas to get you started and inspire you...check out some ideas for
berries which are fab to provide you with heaps of anti-oxidants.  Essentially just use what's it your kitchen!!  And I recommend organic....great to keep the bad stuff (pesticides and such) away from our skin!

And while I waited for the banana to dry today I painted my nails with Butter!!......
